Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream - Review

Hello Everyone! Here is the first review for this week :)  Today I want to talk to you about my experience using Lioele's Triple the Solution BB Cream.  I  have quite a few samples of this BB Cream which I received with orders of other cosmetics and I was dying to try it out.  I waited till I was in Belgium though because I never wore any BB Cream before and I was afraid that the colour wouldn't match and people will think I look crazy!
So a little about this product:
It's special BB Cream which works greatly in Whitening & Wrinkle Care & UV Protection. It's natural looking coverage lets your skin look healthier and smoother. Not only brightens your skin tone, but also protect it from harmful UVA/UVB.  With a little volume of BB Cream, it hides most of skin trouble. You can have most flawless complexion.

As found on http://en.lioele.com/board/product_view.php?num=17&cate1=2&cate2=1

Recapture the radiance of your youth with the Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream and get beautifully flawless skin. This Triple the Solution BB Cream is a three-in-one makeup and skincare formula with whitening, wrinkle care and sun protection. The natural healthy yoghurt powder and hyaluronic acid in this Lioele anti-aging day cream moisturizes your skin. Formulated with tangerine and strawberry extracts, this Lioele skin cream whitens and lightens the skin tone over time.

The fermented yogurt component in the Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream offers a tight hold, making the cream work deep into your skin. The SPF 30 PA++ in this Lioele anti-aging cream protects your skin from the harmful UVA and UVB rays. It not only filters out the UV rays, it nourishes your skin while hiding most skin troubles and blemishes to shade and even out skin tone for a perfectly clear and even complexion.

This Lioele BB Cream helps to prevent the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, blemishes and freckles. The non-greasy formula of the Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream leaves your skin looking fresh and vibrant.
And this is the description that appears on www.lioeletexas.com
Here is my experience using this BB Cream :)
As already mentioned, this was my first time trying out a BB Cream. I am not very fond of make-up bases, concealers and foundations because I tend to actually feel them on my skin all day long and they make me too self conscious, besides I don't consider myself as in need of hiding my own skin.  Curiosity killed the cat and I decided to give this BB Cream a try. Here is what I noted about it:
The first thing that I was so worried about was the colour.  I was so relieved when it matched my skin tone!  The coverage was somewhere between very light to medium. It depends on how much I applied though. I was extra careful not to overdo it!  So far as application goes, it was quite easy. The sample has a tear at the top which tears up fast and all I had to do was run my fingers slowly along the sachet to get the product out in little bits. Blending the product with fingers is fairly easy, considering that I have no practice with this kind of thing.
Here is a picture of me without BB Cream:

Excuse the lighting because it was behind my back.  I had just arrived at the hotel there :)

And Here is a picture of me with the BB Cream:

Can you see the difference? Colour-wise not much as it blends in really well, but my skin looks more as one whole thing with this BB Cream.

I wore it for 10 hours and notice that it held really well but I had to be careful not to touch my face as the first time I did that, some of the product actually transferred to my fingers and I was scared stiff about creating streaks in the whole appearance.  Thankfully, no streaks were created, but I did spend a whole day conscious on where I placed my hands! Its oil control was really good and I didn't get an shine after 10 hours! I don't consider my skin to be particularly oily but lately I was using a toner that was causing my skin to produce some oil (needless saying that I discontinued using it and am limiting its use to makeup removing before I use a better cleanser) As time went by, I noticed some pulling on my skin but I was not sure whether the BB Cream was actually drying me out or whether it was my super self-consciousness.  Either way, after around 5 hours of wear, I was getting the urge to stroke my cheeks, (Which I didn't for fear or damaging the makeup) and I sorted that out by patting my fingers along the pulling parts. Overall my face felt really smooth and didn't show any signs of my wearing the BB cream, (unless you looked up close and looked specifically for it) which is really good as I don't like the look that people get when their cosmetics are conspicuous on their faces (except those that are meant to be visible).

This is how the product looks, straight out of the sacket

Here is a close-up of my skin with BB Cream

Overall Pros:
Good Colour tone that matched my skin
Coverage is light to medium and can be built up
Long Wear (10 hours is one long day!)
Good Oil Control (no need to blot, and no shine even after 10 hours)
Overall Cons:
Tends to pull on my Cheeks a bit after 5 - 6 hours wear
Transfer to fingers if you touch your face
I will consider purchasing the full product after I review some more samples that I have stashed away. So far I was very pleased with the result.  (I don't think I will be wearing a BB Cream for more than 8 hours though)
Rating:
3.5 - 4 Pink Diamonds
The reason why I am so undecided on the rating is the fact that I can actually feel it on my face if I think about it long enough. This may be due to my never using anything of the sort before because all overall face make-up tend to have that effect on me. (Day cream also gets a tad annoying at times) But the major turn-off about this BB Cream is the fact that it can transfer to fingers when touched and that gets me scared stiff of getting patchy make-up so I have to stay on the look out of where I put my hands. Other than that, it's a 4 star product!

I must admit that the second day using this BB Cream felt better, maybe because I was busy running around in Museums and my attention was so far away from my face :)  I wore it from 8 in the morning till midnight on the second day... A whole day of running around in the brisk Brussels air and a 3hr flight back home!  The picture above was taken on my second night at the hotel, after a full day of conference meetings.

I almost forgot to tell you from where you can get hold of this product!   You can purchase your tube from Pretty & Cute, a link to the store is found on the side bar :)

That's about it for today, I hope you found this review interesting and useful!

Weekly Manicure :) - Sailor Jupiter

Hello everyone! I didn't post the weekly manicure last week, so I shall be making up for it this week. I will try to post two manicures.  Let me show you what I had prepared last week.  The theme is Sailor Jupiter and features a polish from the Ice Cream nails collection by Etude House and Nail Stickers from Born Pretty Store.  I tried to portray the classy side of Sailor Jupiter so this look has a rather sophisticated appearance.

Products used:

Lioele Nail hardener
Etude House Ice Cream Nails in Green GR401
Nail Stickers in Gold

Here is how to do it:

1.  Prepare your nails with a base coat and make sure it is completely dry.
2.  Apply one thick coat of Green Ice Cream polish and allow to dry completely.  This may take some time
because of  the thickness of the polish.
3.  Choose a design from the sticker sheet and carefully peel it off and stick it onto your nail. Make sure to
     press all the edges firmly.
4.  Complete the manicure by applying a generous coat of top coat so as to seal the nail stickers in place.

Different Lighting to try to capture the real colour of the Green Polish.

Now you are ready to hit the streets :)

Where to buy:

You can get the Lioele Nail Hardener from Pretty&Cute by following the link on the side bar.

Get hold of the Ice Cream Nails by Etude House at W2Beauty by either following  the link on the side bar or click on the link here :) Don't forget to insert 2862205 in your registration form for a $5 voucher that you can use instantly.

As for the Nail Stickers Click on the pic below and go shop :) And don't forget to use Coupon code PCLG10 to get everything in your shopping list 10% cheaper!

1pc Embossed Texture Metal Style 3D Nail Art Sticker

My thoughts after a week:

The polish is the exact same colour as appears in the bottle and the stickers lasted pretty well for a whole week.  One has to be careful with regards to the edges. Make sure that they are completely sealed with the top coat!  I really recommend all the products that I used for this manicure as the result was very satisfying!

Here is a matching makeup look:

Basically all you need is a black liner (I used Maybelline Master Drama), Black Mascara (Maybelline One by One), Green Eyeliner (Lioele Jewel Eyeliner in Aqua Green), A pale green eyeshadow and some body glitters in gold.

I hope you enjoyed this post, till next one!

Lioele Fresh Deodorant Tissue Review :)

Hello Everyone, I am back with another review :) I want to talk to you about Lioele's innovative deodorant tissues, I am already going through my second pack because they are so handy and do their job really well :)

The above is a description derived from Lioele's official website and it is the same description that you will find on the bottom of the box.  These sweet tissues come packed up in a normal resealable plastic pocket and then are packed in a sweet pink carton box. Let me show you:

So basically these tissues are supposed to be used to remove perspiration and the odor that comes with it, and add a little sweet scent. They do not prevent perspiration though so don't expect yourselves to stop perspiring after you use the tissues.  I use them a lot at work because I have to go on innumerable inspections from one site to another (mostly dairy farms) and in late spring and summer it starts getting annoyingly hot and I freshen up between one inspection and the other super fast with these cuties.. no wonder I am already digging into my second pack.

A little about the product:

  • So the tissues are double packaged as explained above and it is very practical
  • The pack contains 25 sheets
  • The smell is slightly floral and has a little clinical scent to it but it is not overwhelming. It reminds me of a normal flowery deodorant.
  • It is designed to be used behind the knees, armpits and hands. (I wouldn't use it on the face)
  • As for the ingredients, it contains Alcohol so for those of you who steer away from alcohol, this product is not for you.
Ingredients:  Water, Alcohol, PEG-8, Polysorbate 20, Glycerin, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, DMDM Hydantoin, Fragrance (Parfum), Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Benzalkonium Chloride, Disodium EDTA.

Ladies, how would you like me to list the ingredients of all the products I review as I did above?  I think that would be useful especially for people who buy their stuff off of internet. Let me know in the comments below.

My Opinion:

Personally I fell in love with these tissues as  they smell so much better than the usual wet wipes. Practical small packaging makes them fit in my handbag, and I tend to remove the outer box to make them even smaller.  I will keep stashing on this product as it fits my lifestyle perfectly especially in summer due to my job requirements. I think these are suitable for those of you who go to the gym or do the morning jogs.. or better still for those of you who used public transport and need to freshen up between your comings and goings!  I love the smell, even though it is a little chemical, the floral accents are subtle and don't go to the head. (I am rather sensitive to perfumes). The only downside is the content of alcohol and the 25 sheets per pack. I would love it if they could make them bigger so that they would last longer!

5 Pink Diamonds for these darlings :)

I got my first packs from ebay but I just realised that my favorite Korean Cosmetics shop is stocking them as well, so as soon as I run out of these, I am sure to purchase my next pack from W2beauty :)  Here is a link to the product :) Oh and don't forget to use the following code when signing up for an instant $5 voucher!!
2862205
3 packs for just €9.30/$12.43 including shipping is simply a steal considering that usually sell for $5 a pack less shipping on ebay.

PS don't do like my boyfriend, he uses his tissues to wipe his hands from the Diesel Station. He says that wet wipes don't remove the stink of diesel as good as these ones! Maybe the boys out there just got some ideas hehe

Till next Post,

Lioele Carry Me HandCream in Blueberry Review :)

Hello Ladies :)

Here is one of the reviews I have been promising you :) I am kind of sick today so forgive the briefness of the post :( Today I want to talk about Lioele Carry Me Handcream in Blueberry. I also have the one in Coconut which I will start using shortly :)

The product is described as:

Blended  Vitamin E and natural fruit extracts, Specialized at anti-oxidation, Carry Me Hand Cream Lets skin become fresh and healthy. Coconut & Blueberry extracts Greatly Enhance water supply

on Lioele's Official website.

On the front of the tube it has a slightly different statement:

Lioele Carry Me Blueberry Hand Cream is blended Vitamin E and natural fruit extracts, this handy and silky hand cream soothes, moisturizes and protects your sking against dehydration.

The Hand cream comes in a 40ml plastic tube painted silver with pink details and has a very practical screw-on cap in the shape of a nut or a bold :)

When the tube is squeezed, it will turn back to its original shape and it can stand perfectly upside down on its cap so that the product slides downwards on its own. it is rather a small package and fits perfectly in the palm of your hand which makes it easy to carry around :)

So on to my experience:

The cream is a light pink coloured composition between gel and cream. It is not runny at all and is not transparent like a gel.  Here is a picture to further expalain:

It has a smell of blueberries or rather berries, very close to the smell of a berry youghurt but not so intense.  I thought it was going to become annoying as the hours passed but instead it is quite calming when you catch its smell everynow and then. So thumbs up for the smell which is not too sweet or too artificial!

A litlle goes a long way! The size of the tube made me think that it will run out rather quickly but then when I squeezed out the first amount of product I realised that you do not need much product to apply evenly and so the tube will actually last longer that it makes you believe.  The cream is also waterproof, washing my hands with luke warm water (no soap) didn't remove the cream and it lasted nearly all day. In fact it is so durable that I only apply it once in the morning before going to work and once in the evening before going out :)

It has high absorbtion which is perfect for a fast life! I don't have time to wait on the handcream to be absorbed, especially in the morning. A few rubs and it is in, no more stickyness and the rings can go back on my finger and off we go.  My hands feel really soft and smooth, no stickiness whatsoever!

Overall:

Packaging is cute and practical
Screwon cap is flat so tube can stand upright
Smell is gentle and natural (not artificial)
Only a little product is needed for an application
Waterproof and long lasting
Smoothes the skin and makes it feel soft
Fast absorbtion into the skin

It has a lot of natural ingredients in it but it also has Cetearly Alcohol in, so for those into chemistry and are not exactly fans of alcohol in cosmetics, this one may not be perfect. I don't mind a little alcohol in this handcream because there are so many leaf and flower extracts of different species that the only alcohol ingredient is overwhelmed.. but anyways this can be a con.

5 Pink Diamonds for this cutie :) I really love it!

You can get this gorgeous hand cream from W2Beauty by clicking here :) And don't forget to sign up using code 28622005 for a $5 voucher which you can used immediately :)

I will be trying the Coconut version but I am a little cautious about it though because I am afraid the coconut scent will be too strong.  I will let you know later on, for now it is Blueberry :)

Let me know what you think of this handcream in the comments below :)

Till next post,
Saranghaeyo!

Review Time :) - Vitamina P Plus by Dermica

Hello Everyone! I am finally back! All overtime at work is done so now I can get back to posting more often and to stitching again :)  Today I want to share with you some new products I started using this month. Mostly they are samples that I want to try out, a new hand cream and my day and eye creams :)

Here are some pictures of the products I want to talk about:

Samples from Dermika, Sunscreen sample and 2 Nivea Masks
Lioele Hand Cream in Blueberry

Dead Sea Premier Day Cream

Dead Sea Premier Eye Cream

My everyday day cream and eye cream are from Dead Sea Premier. I had been convinced to buy them by a salesperson in Valletta and they did come a bit too pricey. I wasn't aware of Korean cosmetics back then, or I would have sent him to take a p!$$ :P  With them I got a facial scrub, a nail buffer and cuticle oil. These were supposed to be free but I am sure that I paid them in full too. The one thing that compensates for their price is that there is quite a lot of product in the tubs and you don't really need to apply a lot either so they will last for quite a while.  In the mean time here is a little description of the two main products:

The Eye Cream:

This ultra-modern formula is suitable for all skin types. It consists of the best anti-aging ingredients: Dead Sea minerals, Liposome Complex, Dunaliella Seaweed, natural Aloe Vera, Oxygen, Vitamins E and A. It moisturizes and hydrates the very delicate skin around the eyes. It helps diminish dryness and fine lines and reduces puffiness. It is a perfect base for make-up. The cream contains UVA and UVB sun filter protection of SPF 17.

(as described on : http://www.premierdeadsea-usa.com/eye-cream)

The Day Cream:

This multi-protective, hypoallergenic day cream, which contains not only a cream but also a mineral bar in the cap, preserves the skin’s natural moisture level. This dermatology-tested cream is perfect for all skin types including sensitive skin. It contains
UVA and UVB sun filter protection (SPF 17).
 (as described on: http://www.premierdeadsea-usa.com)

To be honest, I still haven't tried the blue soap-like bar :)

(I haven't been using the scrub yet, though the nail buffer is good and the cuticle oil was one of my staples a few months ago and helps a lot in preventing dry skin around the nails.. I will be posting photos of these products in another post)

Moving on!...

I was given a pack of samples by a friend of mine who runs a clinic called The Dermacare Clinic, after I went there for routine fascial, which I really enjoyed :) I finally found the time to try two of the samples which I shall be reviewing here:

The first one is a Day/Night Cream by Dermika called Vitamina P Plus.  I used this for a week, applying it in the morning before going to work and in the evening before going out. I noticed that some of my pores that are close to my nose (which I opened up thanks to my continuous blowing my nose due to hay fever) have started to shrink away, which is a pleasant surprise.  Here is what it says on the sachet:

Cream for all skin types, including delicte and sensitive with fragile, superficial capillaries. Soothes reddening and signs of skin irritation, reduces blood vessel peristalsis and erythematous reactions. It has an anti-wrinkle effect, perfectly hydrates and smoothes the skin and makes it firmer. Also recommended for acne rosacea prone skin.

My Opinion:
The first thing that caught my eye were the two tear-aways at each corner. They allow you to open the sachet easily without spilling the product. The cream has a good consistency and is not extremely runny. It can be described as slightly firmer than sun screen lotions, which I like. It does have a tendency to go under the nails though, which is probably due to the fact that I was taking it out of a sachet and not a tub.  It is absorbed by the skin rather fast but it makes my nose shine for a little while.  The end result is nice smooth skin :) I haven't used it enough to confirm anti-wrinkle effects but I did notice that my pores reduced in size and my skin is not dry. The only things that I am not very fond of, is that you need quite a bit of product to cover the whole face and that the cream has a faint smell of sun screen. It is faint but still not my favorite.

Pros:

Fast absorbtion into the skin
Hydrates and leaves skin really smooth
Good Consistency

Cons:
Needs a lot of product to cover all face
Smells faintly of sun lotion

Overall:  I would recommend this product though I am not purchasing the full product for myself.  I have still a lot of products to try out and I already have a day cream which cost me an eye :P

The next sample I am currently trying out is the Gold 24 eye cream by Dermica.  I am still using my first sachet and there is a second one as well.  I will be reviewing the product after I finish off the first sample which I must say contains quite a lot of product and even though I am using it twice daily, I think I will manage to do a complete 3 week cycle!  At present I have formed a good impression of this eye cream :)

Another product which I shall be reviewing soon is the Lioele Carry Me Hand Cream in Blueberry! I am using it twice daily and I am really loving it :) Plus I shall also be reviewing the Lioele Deodorant tissues soon as I have already gone through my first pack :)

Soo many reviews to write and look forward too :) I hope to keep up good speed so you won't be waiting for too long.

In the mean time you may want to spend some time reading this gorgeous asian fanfiction:
